The City of Johnson City is requesting proposals from qualified odor control companies for providing vapor phase odor control for the city's Knob Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 509 Austin Springs Road, Johnson City, Tennessee, 37601. Services shall include providing necessary equipment, chemicals, operation and maintenance/service to provide perimeter odor control for the sludge digester/headwork's as per these specifications. The specifications contained herein describe the minimum requirements of the City and any omission shall not relieve the vendor of furnishing quality products/service in a timely manner. Any variances to these specifications must be clearly identified. The attached ITP General Terms & Conditions is an integral part of this solicitation. Contract award, if made, shall be to the most responsible vendor who offers the most responsive proposal. The City reserves the right to choose the proposal that is in its best interest. Considerations in the award shall be based on the selection criteria as specified. This is a three (3) year contract subject to annual renewals provided all terms, conditions, and prices remain unchanged and the vendor is in agreement. The Contract may be terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.
