Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Marshville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 5,000-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a 210,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
as of June 7, 2024, this project is under construction by the awarded Construction Manager. From original solicitation: UCPS is requesting qualifications from Construction Management firms interested in providing Construction Management at Risk services for Forest Hills High School. The design is at 95% construction documents. The project scope will likely include: 1. 210,000 sf 2-story new construction and related site improvements. 2. Demolition of approximately 5,000 sf of building. 3. Demolition of some of the existing site improvements to include, but is not limited to, tennis courts, softball field, bus and car parking lots. 4. School houses approximately 900 students and will remain operational throughout construction.
