Union County Public Schools (UCPS) is seeking qualification responses from skilled, experienced Architectural Firms specializing in new construction and major renovations in K-12 (Educational Sector) projects to provide design and construction administration services. Question Deadline April 23, 2024 2:00pm EST All inquiries are to be made in writing and submitted to the individual listed above prior to the deadline of April 23, 2024 at 2:00pm (EST). For general purposes the scope may entail, but is not limited to, design, construction administration and management, project cost estimating, working with agencies having jurisdiction, permitting, invitation for bidding, identification of necessary easements, attendance at pre-bid meetings and bid openings, provide recommendation of award, assist in value engineering, and contract administration. UCPS is specifically looking for Architects with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in areas of new construction and major renovation of K-12 schools. Selection is anticipated to be made June 2024. Provided the project is funded, construction is anticipated to begin Summer 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
