Install of a 4400 linear foot HDPE waterline, well pump, storage tank, well site fence, 2x water meters, pressure reducing valve, and additional hardware necessary to make system operational located at 20080 Cabrillo Hwy South, Half Moon Bay, CA 91019. Construct and install domestic water well infrastructure and waterline at 20080 Cabrillo Highway South, Half Moon Bay. This is located in Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Tunitas Creek Open Space Preserve. The scope of the project includes the installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 2" HDPE Class 9 waterline and tracer wire that will connect two Christy boxes installed to grade height. The north Christy box location, which is at the end use point, will include pressure reducing valve, shutoff, and an air bleed valve. The waterline will be reduced from HDPE 2" Class 9 to a 3/4 " copper water inlet line connected to house inlet. The south endpoint will terminate at a 4999- gallon low profile green poly tank fed from the new well. Storage tank to well head connection should be included as part of the bid. Contractor is to provide and install a solar well pump system with 2 PV solar panels, backup batteries, transfer switch with connection for emergency generator that would operate pump and construct a five wire (galvanized) livestock fence built to District specifications with a 12-foot access gate around the well site, water tank and pump. The District will provide biomonitoring services. Contractor will communicate and coordinate with District staff to ensure that biological resources are being adequately protected/monitored.
