Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Erie, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; and swimming pool.

(Integrated Project Delivery/Design Build for Public Project) Project Description: WESTERLY METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 1, ("Owner") is seeking requests for proposals for prequalification of general contractors for the construction of public improvements including an approximately 5,000 sq.ft. community club house, pool, and associated amenities in the Westerly community, located in the Town of Erie, Weld County, State of Colorado. From the respondents to this request for qualifications, Owner will determine which general contractors are most qualified, and subsequently announce a short list of those deemed most qualified to receive requests for construction work proposals. Project Budget Considerations: $7,500,000 Contractor Pre-Qualification Requirements: General contractors interested in being considered for pre-qualification must submit information to Owner demonstrating qualifications, including the following: 1. An AIA 305- Contractors Qualification Statement. 2. A cover letter indicating evidence of business operations of a minimum of 20 years, bonding capacity in the amount of at least $20,000,000 for single projects and an aggregate of $80,000,000, and attaching an insurance certificate or other statement of the insurance coverage maintained by the general contractor. 3. List of identities and addresses of all partners, members, joint venturers and/or association members of the general contractor. 4. Evidence of general contractor's ability to complete other projects of similar location, size, scope and complexity, including evidence of completion of five design/build pools in the last five years, five clubhouses in the last five years, and project manager and superintendent that have completed three clubhouses in the last five years. 5. Evidence that personnel have sufficient experience/training for the project, including evidence of an EMR safety rating of .75 or less. 6. Evidence of all applicable licenses, registrations and credentials (and information on any revocation or suspension of the same). Questions regarding the submission of qualifications and those requesting further information should be directed to: Kevin House Kevin.House@southernland.com Bid Information: It is anticipated that Owner will invite the participating contractors placed on the short list to participate in requests for proposal to perform the project work as needs arise. Owner's Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to select a limited number of contractors submitting acceptable Pre-Qualification Statements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Pre-Qualification Statements and to waive all irregularities therein, and all general contractors submitting Pre-Qualifications shall agree that all such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any general contractor because of such rejection, nor shall the contractor seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner or any of its representatives because of such rejection. The filing of any Pre-Qualification Statement in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the contractor to these conditions.
