Site work for a road / highway in Spur, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project includes up to 25 miles of trails including construction of 15 miles of new trails and 10 miles of rehabilitated trails. The entirety of the trails on this project will be designed for off-highway vehicle traffic. The WRMWD is looking for a Team who can handle both design and construction of all trails as described above to create sustainable and safe trails. Phase A includes Design and Layout. Phase B includes Construction. The project also includes fencing as well as trail signage. The project includes approximately 18,000 LF of boundary fencing to enclose the trail area. This fence is proposed to be composed of 4" steel posts and steel cable, however input on the type and design of this fence is also requested in the design phase. FUNDING AGENCY: This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department through the Recreational Trails (RTP) Grant program. Selection Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based upon the information submitted. The following criteria will be the primary considerations for selecting a proposal: Project understanding, approach, and schedule: 25 Points Experience and availability of project team: 20 Points Experience on similar projects, including past record of performance: 20 Points Overall quality and responsiveness of proposal: 10 Points Price: 25 Points 2 points will be added if the proposer has the ability to execute the fencing and signage components of the contract in addition to the trails.
