This project includes up to 24 miles of trails including construction of 14.4 miles of new trails and 9.62 miles of rehabilitated trails. The entirety of the trails on this project will be designed for off-highway vehicle traffic. A preliminary site assessment was conducted in January of 2023. All existing trails were geolocated and new trail alignments were proposed. This project includes the final Layout and construction of the proposed new trails along with the rehabilitation of the existing trails as described. Trail signage is also included in this project. FUNDING AGENCY: This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department through the Recreational Trails (RTP) Grant program. SELECTION CRITERIA: Proposals will be evaluated based upon the information submitted. The following criteria will be the primary considerations for selecting a proposal: 1. Project understanding, approach, and schedule: 25 Points 2. Experience and availability of project team: 20 Points 3. Experience on similar projects, including past record of performance: 20 Points 4. Overall quality and responsiveness of proposal: 10 Points 5.
