Site work for a civil project in Simsbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of December 05,2022, project was awarded, construction start date is anticipated for mid-January** Repairs and Improvements to Orkil Pond Dam This project includes grading of the existing earthen-embankment dam slope, raising the earthen spillway crest, widening the earthen auxiliary spillway, the existing drop-inlet type spillway in 54-inch stand-pipe will be replaced with a cast-in-place box structure with an associated carp screen and slide gate, the existing 54-inch corrugated metal outlet pipe will be replaced iwth a 60-inch diameter reinforced concrete outlet pipe, and replacement of the existing rounded stone with standard rip rap is also proposed The Town of Simsbury is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. To be qualified to bid, any prospective bidder must be appropriately prequalified by the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Simsbury.
