Renovation of a museum in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Installing plywood to support fractured gysum roof panels. .2 Install additional support below existing steel roof T's. Structural supports to be located off the existing floor and existing steel structure. Removal of wood walls and ceiling is required in areas not accesible. Electrical, plumbing and ventitlation ducts are located in certain areas that will required relocating services or providing shoring over to install supports for the roof structure. .3 Installation of steel angles to support exterior wall. Angles to epoxied to existing floor and brick wall. Removal of existing speedtile on exterior wall at angle locations and specific locations on drawings. .4 Repoint exterior masonry wall. .5 Infill existing windows with wood framing and plywood. .6 Install a weather barrier (ie tyvex), Z girts and metal siding on one face of the building. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
