The City of Colleyville seeks a qualified Bidder to establish a multiple year contract from a qualified person, firm, or corporation experienced in landscape maintenance and lawn mowing services to provide full, turnkey services inclusive of necessary equipment and labor to maintain City properties located within the City of Colleyville, Texas 76034. Bidders must submit, with their bids, a cashier's or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to CITY OF COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a City approved Surety Company (according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval by the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code) as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within (10) days after award of contract to their company. Bids without the required check or bid bond will be considered non-responsive. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved Surety Company. (An approved Surety Company being a company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety, and being acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval from the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code.) The successful Bidder must also be able to show evidence that it is authorized to do business in the State of Texas prior to executing the contract.
