Renovation of a mixed-use development in Northampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform all work required for the 631-23-001 Install CAT 6A Homeruns project in accordance with the terms and conditions, drawings, specifications, and all attachments. This project is located at the VAMC Central Western Massachusetts, 421 North Main Street, Leeds, MA 01053. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $39.5 million. In accordance with P.L. 109-461, this acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses concerns. See VAAR 852.219-10, Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside of this solicitation for information in regard to requirements in order to be considered. Bidders must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) at time of submission of bid and at time of award. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE in VetBiz prior to contract award will result in the bidder being ineligible for award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), prospective contractors shall be registered in the SAM database at the time of bid opening and remain registered. Only electronic Quotes will be accepted. 631-23-001 Install CAT 6A Homeruns for Water Distribution Equipment Campus Wide Contract Period: Base POP Begin: 11-04-2022 POP End: 03-04-2023 PRINCIPAL NAICS CODE: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Z1NZ - Maintenance of Other Utilities Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project for the removal of existing CAT 5 wiring to backflow preventers, meters, and water monitoring panels and installation of CAT6A cabling and associated conduit from each associated endpoint device to a patch panel located in the building IT rooms located within the Contract Document Drawings. CAT 6A cabling shall be installed with an excess of 10 ft. at both endpoints to ensure adequate length to reach the patch panel and endpoint devices. Contractor shall terminate all associated connections at each endpoint device located in the Contract Documents as well as at each patch panel (see Contract Documents for existing patch panels and patch panels provided by contractor). The contractor shall provide patch panels per associated Contract Documents or as required to ensure a complete and operational system at the completion of construction. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
