The Key West Housing Authority (the KWHA) is a municipal agency created under F.S. 421. The KWHA currently owns and manages 590 public housing units and administers 254 housing choice vouchers. The KWHA also manages an additional 50 public housing units and an additional 200 housing choice vouchers through an interlocal agreement with the Monroe County Housing Authority (the MCHA). The KWHA's mission is to provide safe, secure, and quality affordable housing solutions to citizens of the community in a manner that promotes the self-sufficiency of low-income families and meets the needs of moderate-income families in the local workforce The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, insurance, transportation, etc. to provide HQS Inspections. The KWHA will provide an electronic tablet with inspection software for the Contractor to use. No verbal requests for clarification of information will be accepted. All questions must be made in writing via postal mail (1400 Kennedy Drive, Key West, FL 33040), electronic mail (sellersv@kwha.org), or hand delivery, and all questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 There is no pre-bid conference scheduled at this time. The KWHA reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal, and to award to any party considered to be in the best interest of the KWHA.
