The Texas General Land Office (GLO) is requesting proposals on an emergency basis for the plugging of a non-producing oil well, designated PAR 064, and removal of the well stub in a high traffic recreational area on state-owned uplands and submerged lands on Bolivar Peninsula, Galveston County, Texas (the Project). This Solicitation is published on an emergency basis to avert a potential public threat and to avoid additional undue cost to the state. The scope of work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, plant, supplies, superintendence, insurance, bonds, overhead, incidentals, and services necessary or required to fully complete the Project. A full description of the scope of work may be found in Exhibit E, Project Manual. The GLO has estimated the approximate cost range for this Project at $600,000.00 to $1,000,000.00.
