Renovation of a museum in Washburn, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The project consists of replacing the main air handling equipment and associated heating and cooling units at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Washburn ND to include (to be demoed) 11 Heat Pumps, 5 furnaces and 4 blower coils and associated head end equipment. Much of the existing ductwork will be reused; the new system includes 4 Air Handler Units with hot water coils and chilled water coils supplied by 3 gas fired boiler, an air cooled chiller, and 5 pumps. Zone control will be provided by 15 Variable Air Volume boxes and coils. TYPE OF BIDS. Single combined Mechanical Bid will be received from qualified Bidders for all portions of the work. The successful Bidder will be the single Prime Contractor for the Project. - Single Prime Mechanical Contract including all portions of General and Electrical work. The work of the General and Electrical is incidental to the work of the Mechanical and less than 25% of the threshold stated in ND Century Code 48-01.2-02.1 If the Bidder returns the set of documents, in good condition, within 10 days following the Bid Date, the deposit will be refunded. If the Bidder does not return the set of documents within the designated time, none of the deposit will be refunded. Please allow 2 days for printing. Partial or complete sets of prints and specifications may be obtained from EAPC by other than the above. The sets or partial sets will be distributed upon receipt of payment for the information charged at the current reproduction rate. None of this payment will be refunded. Completeness and adequacy of the list of documents requested shall be the responsibility of the person making the request. Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid including all add alternates, must accompany each Bid in accord with 00 1000 - Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Bond, cashier's checks or certified checks will be accepted. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by North Dakota Century Code Section 43 07-07; and no bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any bid deficient in these respects submitted will be re sealed and returned to the bidder immediately.
