Bids are requested for a one-year term contract with two, one-year renewal options for chemical treatment services of boiler and water systems as per the specifications contained herein. The City reserves the right to award to multiple vendors as it deems it in its own best interest to do so. The City reserves the right to award any single item and/or any combination of items or to award by section as it deems in its own best interest. Inspection of Premises: Before submitting bids for their work, the Contractor shall be held to have examined all the sites and satisfied themselves as to the existing conditions under which he/she shall be obligated to operate, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection, on behalf of the Contractor for any negligence on their part. Responses received after the date and time indicated will not be accepted or considered. Responses may be withdrawn or modified in writing prior to the response submission deadline. Responses that are resubmitted or modified shall be sealed and submitted to the City's Purchasing Department prior to the response submission deadline. Following the deadline date responses will be considered firm.
