Scope of Work:Woods Edge Road Safety Improvements provides new southbound left turn lanes along Route 620 (Woods Edge Road) for Southcreek Drive and Walthall Creek Drive, as well as the installation of a sidewalk between Southcreek Drive and Word-Life Outreach Ministries along the east side of the road. A stormwater basin on the west side of Woods Edge Road shall be installed to accommodate stormwater runoff, and an existing stormwater culvert crossing just north of Walthall Creek shall be replaced. The work will include, but not be limited to: clearing, grading, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt paving and buildup, drainage structures, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, fire hydrant relocation and installation of solar-powered flashing school signs and other items necessary for the completion of the work. The project's total length is approximately 2,800 feet. If there is a discrepancy between the electronic files and the hard copies on file with the County, the hard copies govern.
