Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Taylorsville, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

General Contractor (B100) or General Roofing Contractor (S280) to perform a partial re-roof of Westbrook Elementary School, 3451 West 6200 South, Taylorsville, Utah. Work shall include, but is not limited to: • Removal of portions of existing SBS modified roof system to sheathing, including but not limited to: membrane, perlite cover board and cricket system, and primary and secondary roof drain bowls. • Protection of existing building assemblies to remain. • Removal and re-installation of existing mechanical equipment and utilities. • Removal and proper disposal of ACM in noted roofing materials. • Repair/replace deteriorated roof sheathing as required. • Installation of insulation, coverboards, roof membrane, and flashings. • Installation of new primary and secondary roof drain bowls with tie-in to existing rainwater leaders. Questions must be submitted by Monday, September 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM. All questions must be submitted electronically. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, at the time the bid is submitted, if the total bid amount for any job is $50,000 or greater. GSD has the right at any time to reject any Defective Work, including equipment and materials, and shall have the right to suspend the Work if not being performed in accordance with the Contract Documents GSD will assess $500, per calendar day, as liquidated damages for the late completion of the project
