The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Durham Campus (NCSSM) only has project authority for Advance Planning. The selected designer may be retained through complete design and construction. NCSSM is seeking letters of interest from qualified professionals to provide design planning to renovate the auditorium in the Educational Technology Center (ETC). The scope of work includes the interior as well as exterior renovations. The interior renovations include replacing the house lights with digitally controlled LED can light fixtures, replacing the auditorium seats, replacing the auditorium flooring, and replacing the theatrical lighting. The interior renovations also include replacing the main lobby and hallway flooring and updating the hallways' restrooms. The exterior renovations include paving and sidewalk improvements, exterior lighting, porch improvements, and landscaping improvements.
