As part of the City of Durham's (hereafter "the City" or "COD") National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater Permit, the City maintains an ambient water quality monitoring program. To implement this program, the City is seeking professional services to support the assessment of the benthic macroinvertebrate community at select sites for the 2023 and 2024 calendar years (CY). This will include three (3) required annual tasks in CY 2023 and CY 2024. Task (a) Field Collection of Benthic Macroinvertebrates for Community Assessment Task (a) includes sampling at seven (7) sites in CY 2023 and seven (7) sites in CY 2024 (Error! Reference source not found.). In CY 2023, five sites will be sampled using the Qual4 method and one site will be sampled using the Full Scale method. In CY 2024, four sites will be sampled using the Qual4 method and three sites will be sampled using the Full Scale method.
