The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Deadline for requests for clarifications and questions. Any possible exceptions to the bid specifications and/or terms and conditions should be addressed during this phase. These requests will be answered in an addendum and must be emailed to: purchasing@co.henry.ga.us on :00 PM September 22, 2022. *Deadline for first addendum, if required, posted on the Henry County website: purchasing@co.henry.ga.us3:00 PM September 29, 2022. The following items are to be submitted: o One (1) unbound clearly marked "Original," of the bid documents, o One (1) bound copy identical to the original bid documents, and o One (1) digital copy in PDF format on a USB flash drive identical to the original bid documents. The USB flash drive should be labeled with the Bid number and bidder's name. All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Henry County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) calendar days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The Bid Bond shall be in the form of a surety issued bond made payable to the Henry County Board of Commissioners. The Surety Company shall be licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, latest edition. The Owner will require 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. If awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and provide the bond(s) as required by the Specifications. The successful bidder, upon his failure or refusal to execute and deliver the Contract and bonds required within fifteen (15) calendar days after he has received notice of the acceptance of the bid, shall forfeit to the Owner, as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with his bid. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
