The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, gender, creed, color, religion, national origin sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a prime contractor and/or subcontractor with ECMS to perform work Coded: C1 and K. The construction work will include, but not be limited to: demolition and removal of existing paving; providing and installing concrete walks, steps and retaining walls; signs; lighting; tree pit grate installation; landscaping; digital LED sign; and other related work. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. The Borough of Spring City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding, when, in the opinion of the Borough, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage. Prior to awarding the Contract, Bids may be held by the Borough for a period not to exceed Sixty-five (65) days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders
