The work includes the removal and replacement of the three existing variable frequency drives (VFDs) at the Colonial Drive Booster Station in Tewksbury, MA. The work of this Contract is located in the Town of Tewksbury, at the existing Colonial Drive Booster Station, 100 Colonial Drive, 71 Merrimac Drive, Tewksbury, MA. The category of work is Electrical with an estimated construction cost of $150,000. Any questions received during the site visit will be addressed by addendum on the following Monday, September 26, 2022. Scope- A. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for the replacement of the three existing variable frequency drives (VFDs) at the Colonial Drive Booster Station, complete and ready for operation as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. B. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: 1. Removal and disposal of the three (3) existing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) associated with booster pumps 1-3. 2. Rework of the existing power conduit and cabling into and out of the existing VFD's 3. Rework of the existing control conduit and cabling from the main control board to each VFD. 4. Purchase and installation of three (3) new, ultra-low harmonic variable frequency drives. 5. Installation of new and existing power and control cabling to the VFDs. 6. Testing and commissioning of the new VFDs with the existing utility power andthe existing generator power.
