Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to August 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Transportation Region/Bureau: North Central Region Solicitation ID: NC-03 Anticipated Construction Cost: $2,000,000-$2,999,999 Route : STH 073N County : 39 - Marquette County, 69 - Waushara County Limit : White River Bridge to Sth 21 The pavement needs treatment to extend its service life. Perpetuation project to resurface approximately 7.12 centerline miles of STH 73 between Princeton and Plainfield, from White River Bridge in Neshkoro to approximately 450 feet south of STH 21 in the Town of Marion in Marquette and Waushara Counties. The project will include a thin mill and overlay, shoulder widening (4-inches of asphalt) in the concrete area on the north end of the project, inlet and spot curb and gutter repair in Neshkoro as needed, curb ramp updates to ADA standards, guardrail needs at the bridge, and intersection alternatives to improve operations at CTH YY. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultants actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Information on the report may be found electronically. Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultants estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
