City of Hines will receive sealed Bids for the City of Hines Restroom Project in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, Bid Form, General Conditions, Specifications and Drawings. The presentation to award will occur at the Council Meeting on September 27, 2022 at 6:30 pm. This project involves the construction of a new ADA compliant restroom. The work items include but are not limited to connecting to existing utilities, site preparation, excavation, building construction, and cleanup in accordance with the construction plans and specifications. A safe work environment must be maintained while providing public access to local facilities. FINAL COMPLETION no later than November 18, 2022. Bidders shall be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to Bidding on this Contract and each Bid must contain the Bidder's CCB Registration Number. Failure to comply with this requirement shall result in bid rejection. Progress for this work can begin immediately after signing the contract and permits have been obtained. Substantial Completion of the project shall occur no later than November 4th, 2022 with FINAL COMPLETION no later than November 18, 2022. The CITY may reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and reserves the right to reject for good cause any or all bids in whole or in part upon the finding of The CITY that it is in the best interest to do so, to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights, and to postpone the award of the work as necessary for a period of time not to extend beyond thirty (30) days from the Bid Opening date. Bid prices quoted shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening.
