Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lexington, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of April 26, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the preliminary design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Lexington is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms for providing engineering and support services for projects related to the City of Lexington Water & Wastewater Treatment Facilities. Specific projects will be authorized under a supplemental letter scope of service agreement. Work may include, but not limited to the following: Preliminary Engineering Reports for Solids handling at the WWTP. Preliminary Engineering Reports for the WTP. Preliminary Engineering Reports for the Swearing Creek Pump Station. Treatment capacity studies for the WTP and WWTP. Compliance studies and plant efficiencies including true costs of treatment of Drinking Water and Wastewater. Tracking and reporting of Sewer Allocation volumes as it relates to the current Sewer Service Agreement with the County. Assisting with development of a comprehensive 10-year CIP for the Plants. Design Engineering and Bid phase Services for projects. Construction administration, and RPR of projects related to the Treatment Plants. Development of an asset management plan for the Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Other Design Engineering and Construction Administration duties as needed to successfully complete this project.
