Project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed. Dayton Waste Water Treatment Plant Improvements - Phase II 1. Removal of the current UV disinfection system and installation of a disinfection system consisting of a chlorine (Cl2) gas feed system followed by de-chlorination through use of sodium dioxide (SO2). 2. Installation of a subsurface aeration system in Cells #1 and #2. 3. Construction of a new blower/disinfection building to house: a. new blowers for the proposed aeration system improvements; b. the Cl2 and SO2 gas cylinders and feed equipment; and c. related electrical and instrumentation equipment. 4. Construction of a contact chamber to provide adequate time for Cl2 to contact the treated effluent, to be followed by injection of SO2 for de-chlorination purposes prior to discharge into the Tongue River. 5. installation of new electrical power cables and related equipment to accommodate the proposed improvements. 6.
