Renovation of an educational facility in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 111,397-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
As of October 31, 2023, the awarded Construction Manager has started releasing bid packages for this project. From the original solicitation: The home for the College of Nursing (CoN) at University Park is the Nursing Science Building which was constructed in 1979 as a three-story building with a full basement and a mechanical penthouse comprising 70,741 gross square feet and 40,656 assignable square feet. The primary goals for this project's success include reducing the major maintenance backlog, renewing the building envelope (brick and window), and providing major programmatic upgrades for the CoN, including a large classroom addition on the HUB side of the building.
