The City of Yuba City is seeking qualified consultants to provide professional services associated with the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, associated documentation, and construction support that will ensure that the Plumas Street Historic District and Water Tower Park Improvements Project is bid-ready, and that the City will receive consultant support for through the bidding and construction phases of the project. The Plumas Street Project's design will include the following components: Water Tower Improvements Removal/remediation of existing lead paint on existing Plumas Street Water Tower. See "Coatings Survey," posted as a supplemental document on Public Purchase for this RFP, for further information on Water Tower's lead paint. Removal of existing lighting on existing Plumas Street Water Tower Installation of new paint, and painted murals that match the style of the murals/steel artwork on the new Fifth Street Bridge in Yuba City Installation of programmable multi-colored LED lighting on the water tower Water Tower Park Improvements Removal and replacement of shade structure Removal of existing landscaping and irrigation; installation of new drought- tolerant landscaping and irrigation Installation of playscape and splash pad Provide lighting, seating, trash/recycle bins, digital event board, water fountain Plumas Street Improvements Installation of trash/recycling bins from Bridge Street to State Route 20 Installation of illuminated gateway arch near Plumas Street & Bridge Street intersection, that compliments Plumas Street's current architectural style Center Street Install Festoon-Style lighting crisscrossing Center Street Install trash/recycling bins along Center Street All inquiries regarding this RFQ must be submitted through Public Purchase prior to 4:00 PM, October 5, 2022.
