As of Nov 21 the project was awarded to Williams Construction for $2,645,115.70. The construction site is located in the Town ofNucla along Main Street, 10th Avenue and 4th Avenue in Nucla, Colorado. The work for which bids are requested includes following major items: Site preparation that includes clearing/grubbing and any other work necessary to prepare the site for improvements, Installation of new 8-inch and 6-inch DR11 HDPE water main line with inline valves, water services with meter pits and fire hydrants, Removal and disposal ofAC water line as directed on the plans . Installation ofa new PRV vault with piping and associated valves at 2900 Road and new vault with valve(s) at 6th and Main. Installation ofnew PVC SDR 35 Sewer Main from 8th Avenue to 10th Avenue down Main Street and down 10th Avenue to termination manhole to the east. Bypass pumping from manhole to manhole during sewer construction . Installation of a new curb, gutter, and sidewalk from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue along Main Street, Installation ofHandicap ramps at the intersections with new sidewalk. Associated site restoration including gravel surfacing as necessary
