Renovation of a fire / police facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,613-square-foot fire / police facility.
Collins & Company File #: 700189 Contractor questions regarding the project will be due no later than Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4:00 PM. The City of Georgetown is seeking a roofing contractor for the demo and replacement of the existing flat Ballasted EPDM roof over the truck bay section of Georgetown Fire Station No. 3 located at 101 Jacobs Dr., Georgetown, KY 40324. Bidders are required to provide a price for all base and alternate bids listed on the Bidder Response Form. Fire Station No. 3 is located at 101 Jacobs Drive, Georgetown, KY 40324. The flat roof area over the truck bay is approximately 2,613 sq. ft. and is constructed of ballasted single ply E.P.D.M. over three inches of rigid insulation, polyiso roof, and 1.5 inch metal decking. A layer of rocks also currently covers the roofing materials, which will have to be removed and disposed. The project consists of installing Carlisle's Sure-Seal Black Fully-Adhered Roofing System, or an OWNER-approved equal roofing system. The parapet wall around the perimeter of the truck bay is approximately 210 LF. The parapet wall roof shall be included in the base bid.
