Renovation of a transportation facility in Portland, Oregon. Working plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Port of Portland (the Port) is soliciting proposals from experienced firms or teams of firms (the Provider or Providers) capable of providing construction manager/general contractor services to the Port on the PDX Next Ground Source Heat Pump System project. The work includes construction of a complete ground source heat pump system including ground water extraction and injection wells, pumps, heat exchangers, heat recovery chillers, power, controls, communications, and other supporting infrastructure. The system shall be integrated with existing chillers and boilers to provide heated and chilled water to Portland International Airport (PDX) for use in the HVAC system, with a much higher energy efficiency and a greatly reduced carbon footprint.
