As of November 18,2022, this project was awarded to Wm. Aupperle & Sons, Inc., awarded amount is $418,570.35. Completion of this project shall be by December 15th, 2022. Project will consist of construction of concrete pickleball courts. The work will include tree removal, earthwork, erosion control, p.c.c. pavement (pickleball courts), p.c.c. sidewalk, chainlink fencing, lighting, storm sewer and drainage improvements, and miscellaneous site restoration. Construction may begin as soon as the week of October 10th upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bids shall be made on a Lump Sum basis with itemized unit prices. Bid submittals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the words "Lower Veteran's Park - Pickleball Courts". Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Fon du Lac Park District, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Fon du Lac Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. After receipt of the bids and completion of the review process, Fon du Lac Park District may award a contract to the bidder that in its judgment will provide a combination of the best service and lowest price. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12).
