Renovation of a residential development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The purpose of this process is to solicit qualifications from experienced housing rehabilitation contractors for the City of Peoria. This program will include the rehabilitation of houses in the City of Peoria. The experienced contractor would be expected to function as the general contractor for each job. This RFQ allows for new Contractors to be added to the existing Contractor List for housing rehab projects in subsequent funding years. Each housing rehab project will be put out to bid to the Contractor List. Contractors may only work on one job at a time (unless they have more than one crew); and may not bid again until they are substantially finished with the current job. The City anticipates that funds will be available in subsequent years for the same type of programming. The specific Contractor requirements are found in the body of this RFQ document.
