As of October 19th, 2022, project received no bid. No definite date of rebid. The owner, is still evaluating options. Interested licensed Contractors are invited to bid on the following Livco Water Company potable water system projects located in the unincorporated community of Concho, Apache County, Arizona. Various electrical, plumbing, and equipment upgrades at Zuni Booster Station including relocate booster pump, install flow meter, install 6" gate valve, and installing conduit wiring. Field visits are required prior to submitting bids. All projects must be completed by June 30, 2023. Contractors may bid on any or all projects. These projects are funded through the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) of Arizona. Bidders must meet the WIFA requirements included in the bid packages. Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)s are encouraged to submit a Bid(s). Selection will be based on the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Submit questions, requests for required field visits and requests for bid packages to Todd Allen at todd@vuwco.com no later than 4:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2022. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: A. Zuni Booster Station is a small booster station located on Zuni Dr. in Concho. It is the intent of this project to upgrade the booster station as described below without taking the station out of service or, if necessary, only for a short period of time. This specification (and attachments) describes the scope of work with words and in some cases with drawings and/or photos. The CONTRACTOR shall infer from the information provided the entire scope of work. If unsure of the scope, please contact the ENGINEER or the OPERATOR. Coordinate the construction activity with the operator (see below). The Work under this Contract includes the following: 1. Remove and replace the existing pump with a new pump. See attached equipment data sheet for information. Secure the new pump to the floor with galvanized unistrut and anchor bolts. Connect pressure control from the existing pressure switch and enclose all wiring in conduit per NEC. 2. Locate all existing and new wire in conduit per NEC. Locate and support two telephone cables in conduit. Coordinate with cable company. 3. Replace suction and discharge piping using GSP. Tie to existing 6" PVC distribution line with brass service saddles and corp stops. Include fittings 4. Install 6" gate valve, flange adapter coupling and restrained coupling. Install adjustable support and secure to floor with concrete anchors. 5. Purchase and install a 1-1/2" flow meter on the booster pump discharge. Locate the flow meter with 5 pipe diameters upstream and 2-1/2 pipe diameters downstream from any fittings. Project no 2103.2
