The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract to furnish labor, materials, permits, supplies, etc. necessary to provide grooming for artificial turf fields at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette, Louisiana, in strict accordance with these bid specifications upon award through June 30, 2023, with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional twelve-month periods. Areas to be groomed with each visit: 1. Cajun Field 82,473 sf 2. Leon Moncia Indoor Practice Facility 72,944 sf 3. M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field 135,000 sf approx. 4. Lamson Park 45,000 sf approx. 5. Intramural field on Coliseum Rd. 100,000 sf approx. Work to be completed in 4 trips as coordinated with athletics facility manager: 1. Football pre-season- After August 15 before September 1. 2. Football mid-season- After October 15th before November 1. 3. Baseball/Softball preseason- After January 15 before February 1. 4. Baseball/Softball midseason- After March 15 before April 1. Work to be completed with each visit: 1. Full Field Inspection. 2. Cleaning performed by certified maintenance technicians. 3. Full field vacuum and debris removal. 4. Light field de-compaction. 5. Field grooming to level out infill across the playing surface. 6. Magnetic metallic objects removal. 7. Field disinfectant application. 8. Minor repairs performed.
