The Town of Tyngsborough is seeking quotes from vendors for the removal of an existing backup generator at the Tyngsborough Highway Department and the procurement and installation of a new one at the same location (89 Kendall Road, Tyngsborough MA 01879). 1) Vendor shall be responsible for disconnecting & removing the existing generator at the above location. Old generator will be left onsite at 89 Kendall Road. 2) Vendor shall be responsible for procuring a new generator, to match or exceed the existing generator's capabilities and for installing said generator. 3) Vendor is responsible for obtaining all permits required for the safe & proper installation of the generator. Local permit fees will be waived & such costs shall not be included in the quote. 4) Vendor shall visit the above-mentioned site prior to submitting a bid to ensure that the site is sufficient for the placement of the new generator. Vendor should note in their quote what, if any, site work needs to be accomplished and should include the cost for such work in their proposal.
