Renovation of a residential development in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The HOLYOKE HOUSING AUTHORITY, (HHA), invites sealed bids from qualified, licensed and insured Electrical Contractors for the Churchill Homes I & II Smoke Detector Replacement project in Holyoke, Massachusetts; in accordance with the documents prepared by the HHA. The Project consists of furnishing and installing 120v hardwired smoke detectors, combination smoke/CO devices and photo electric smoke detectors throughout the interior of 100 occupied units. All devices are replacing existing equipment. The Contractor shall be responsible for all associated permit fees. The work is estimated to cost $51,500. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all Alternates) and payable to the Holyoke Housing Authority. Labor and Materials Payment Bond: The successful General Bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Performance Bond: The successful General Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The cost of each bond shall be included in the bid price. Bonds shall be with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and be acceptable to the Holyoke Housing Authority
