The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is seeking one or multiple vendors to provide management and oversight of public drinking water systems in the DCR State Parks system, Water Supply Protection Division, and other DCR divisions as may be added over the period of this contract. In accordance with MGL, Chapter 112, Section 87DDDD, and 310 CMR 22.11B of the Massachusetts Drinking Water Regulations, the selected vendor(s) shall possess certification from the Massachusetts Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Supply Facilities. As such, the selected vendor(s) must hold a full status license as an Operator of Drinking Water Supply Facilities. The DCR State Parks system and Water Supply Protection Division currently has an inventory of 83 public water supply wells throughout the Commonwealth (Attachment A includes a listing of all locations). With the potential acquisition of new properties and the anticipated need for the installation of 4 new wells, the Department's inventory is expected to increase to approximately 90 public water supply wells.
