Site work for a mixed-use development in Caledonia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Cost Estimate is $30,000-$60,000. A meeting with a member of staff and viewing of the current sign can be scheduled by calling the superintendent's office at 573-779-3446 x3. Ask for Mr. Jason E. Samples, Superintendent, or Tammy Watson, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Bid Specifications and Request for Proposal papers may be picked up at the superintendent's office, or picked up during the scheduled meeting. Each company must supply a bid based upon the stated specification of the RFP. However, additional options may be submitted upon the company's expertise and recommended specifications. Any exception, clarification, or variation from these specifications shall be clearly indicated. Any variation must be described in writing with enough detail to enable the District to make an accurate evaluation of the exception. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid and accept that bid which appears to be in the best interest of the school district. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in any bid. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for the opening of bids. Bids proposed from local companies and past experiences will be considered upon the Board's decision. The District has the right to accept the bid it considers most ad- vantageous. Bid Specifications should include the following. Please contact the district to set up a visit for measurements and to review the site of the sign. 1. Remove the existing Digital Sign, 2. Bids should include the price for a new digital sign in the following sizes for the board to consider: a. 6' x 12' b. 5' x 10' c. 4' x 8' 3. The new sign should be: Full color, an electronic message center, 2 sided. 4. Also to be included is software, cellular communication, training, minimum of 5 years parts and labor warranty and a 10 year color warranty. 5. An ID Header LED lighted sign cabinet that is painted on all sides. 6. Steel pole, steel frame, excavation and concrete per prior approved installation. 7. Installation of the new digital sign meeting specifications included and discussed during the site visit. 8. Contractor is required to submit a performance bond and a material and labor bond to the satisfaction of the Board. The final payment for any project shall be made only after acceptance of the project by the Board of Education and completion of any items to be corrected. We look forward to receiving your proposal.
