The Project consists of a new one story library building and related site improvements. The structure includes interior spaces for adult and children's books, activities, activities, storytelling, computers, teens, conference, quiet reading, archives, conference, offices,restrooms, circulation, and support spaces. Porticos at the entrance and outdoor learning and a bookmobile canopy are on the exterior. Site improvements include earthwork, stormwater drainage, connection to existing water, sewer, and electrical power utilities, concrete and asphaltic paving, precast wheel stops, striping, unit masonry retaining wall, lawns, bollards, flagpole, warning pads, and related work as indicated on the Documents. Without force or effect, description of major building assemblies includes: reinforced concrete footings and slabs on grade, concrete masonry, brick masonry, steel framing, wood framing and sheathing, prefabricated wood trusses, rigid insulation, glass fiber insulation, membrane roofing, flashing, sealants, aluminum cornices, guttering, and soffits, aluminum windows and entrances, insulating glass, interior glass and wood doors, metal frames, finish hardware, operable panel partition, drywall, resilient tile and ceramic flooring, resilient base, suspended acoustical ceilings, painting, cabinetry, toilet compartments, accessories, signage, plumbing systems, hvac systems, electrical system, fire alarm and automatic suppression systems, and related work. In order to bid, bidders shall obtain one (1) copy of the bid document files in PDF format on CD-ROM prior to the mandatory Pre-bid Conference. A non-refundable payment of $300.00 is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Payment shall be in the form of a company check made payable to Violette Architecture/Interior Design.
