Metra reserves the right to accept any Bid or any part thereof or reject any and all Bids. Any contract awarded resulting from this bid is subject to funding in part by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). METRA in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 43 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Subtitle A, Part 21 (Non-discrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation) issued pursuant to said Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation, minority and women business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit Bids in response to this Invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age or disability, in consideration for an award.
