The project is located on various streets within the City. Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 7,835 LF of 8", 10", 12" and 15" sanitary sewer CIPP lining; 4 EACH sanitary sewer sectional liners; 1 EACH lateral T-Liner Shorty installation; 6 EACH removing protruding tap; 62 EACH testing of lateral connections; 31 EACH sealing of lateral connections. Bidders shall submit Bids in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Director of Public Works, City of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as "2022 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his/her address, and his/her license number if applicable. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to Director of Public Works, City Hall, 375 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls, WI, 53085. All bids shall be submitted on the bidding forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bidders should pay attention to the requirements for Bid signatures, as set forth in Bid Security. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 30-day period after the date of the Bid Opening. The City will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Sheboygan Falls, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the City accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the City. Failure to return these documents within this prescribed time will result in forfeiture, to the City of Sheboygan Falls, of the selected Contractor's Bid Bond, as liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
