For the following: BID No. 2022-038 SFY 2021 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT-SEXTANT ROAD AND GUNWALE ROAD FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF STAFFORD GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The Roadway Improvements to Sextant Road and Gunwale Road are part of the NJDOT SFY 2021 Municipal Aid Grants. The project consisting of approximately 13,485 SY of HMA Milling, 3 inches or less, 2,200 tons of HMA Surface Course 9.5M64, 2 1/2 inch thick, replace seven (7) Type "A" drainage grates, 2,178 LF of concrete curb, reset 12 manhole castings, 114 SY concrete driveway apron, including road restriping, restoration, landscaping and cleanup. BID SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: Bid must be on the bid form prepared by Owen, Little & Associates, Inc., in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the project and the name and address of the Bidder. BID SECURITY: Bid security is required in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Required bidder information can be found in the bid documents. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
