Project was awarded to Springlake Contracting, Inc. with a Base Bid of $130,670 and an Additive Alternate of $8300 total of $138,970.00 All planholders will receive information via Quest on how to join the virtual meeting prior to the bid opening. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Provide and install chemical feed equipment, storage and containment tank for addition of caustic soda, chemical feed injectors, digital chemical scales for caustic soda and sodium hypochlorite, chemical storage and containment tank for sodium hypochlorite, safety equipment, and well discharge pipe modifications. Work also includes the following electrical construction: replace existing programmable logic controller with new PLC, and associated power distribution equipment and circuitry. Bid will include an additive alternative to provide and install a new magnetic flow meter and associated electrical work. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Teresa Anderson, 11 East Marshall Street, Suite 201, Rice Lake, WI 54868. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
