No pre-bid conference will be held for this scope. The Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District (MSBSD) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide snow and ice removal and sanding services on a per occurrence basis for Big Lake Elementary School, Houston Jr./Sr. High School, Meadow Lakes Elementary School, Willow Elementary, Su-Valley Jr./Sr. High School, Talkeetna Elementary School, Trapper Creek Elementary School, Redington Jr./Sr. High School, Dena'ina Elementary School, Goose Bay Elementary School, Knik Elementary School, Snowshoe Elementary School, Butte Elementary School, Machetanz Elementary School, Fronteras SpanishImmersion Charter School, Admin Annex West, Sutton Elementary School, and the Warehouse/Nutrition Services Complex. Contractors agree, by the submittal of their bid, that the MSBSD shall be their first priority client when snow and ice removal and sanding is called for under the terms of the bid. The term of any contract(s) resulting from this solicitation shall be for one (1) yearperiod, beginning Novebmer 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023. The MSBSD reservesthe right to renew the contract for three (3) additional one (1) year terms, uponmutual written agreement between the MSBSD and the contractor. The MSBSD mayexercise this option by giving written notice to the contractor prior to the expiration ofthe then-existing term, if it is found to be in the MSBSDs best interest.
