Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Charleston, South Carolina. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The North Charleston Sewer District is seeking to retain professional engineering services for the design of upgrading our Turkey Creek Pump Station. The selected engineer will be required to design the desired electrical, mechanical, and structural upgrades which is to include but not limited to wet well rehabilitation, bar screens, generator fuel cell rehabilitation, ventilation upgrades, etc. The selected engineer will prepare plans, specifications, and bid documents along with obtaining all necessary permits for use in the award of a construction contract. The engineer will also provide construction administration during the project; inspection services will be provided by NCSD. NCSD anticipates that the project will be bid in June 2023 and that construction on this project will start the beginning of November 2023. All responses must include at a minimum, the following information presented in the listed order: 1) Qualifications of the Firm, detailing Firm's specific experience on similar projects. 2) Experience and qualifications of team to be assigned to this project. 3) References, including names and contact numbers. 4) Detailed description of approach to work to be performed. 5) Time table for performing the work. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
