Renovation of a water / sewer project in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Construction Services in connection with HVAC improvements for Pump Station No. 1 (PS 1) of the Rack and Grit Building at the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Questions Due Date: Oct 6th 2022, 12:00 PM EDT Qualified contractors will have completed at least three (3) HVAC projects at any wastewater or industrial facilities using equipment of comparable size and complexity, within the last ten (10) years showing demonstrable detailed experience comparable to the scope of services specifically described for this solicitation. The Project shall address improvements to the heating and ventilation system for the Rack and Grit Building of PS 1 (e.g., demolition, facility protection during construction, replacement, etc.), including removal and replacement of the seven (7) existing roof mounted air handling units with three (3) new units, including Spin Filter Systems. The existing steam heating system shall also be removed, and the void areas covered with new wall enclosure treatment after removal. The tunnel between the PS 1 Rack and Grit Building and Incinerator Complex shall also be separated by installing a new CMU wall. The upgrade includes all ancillary and auxiliary equipment and services necessary to provide complete and functioning heating and ventilation systems.
