The City of Framingham (City), invites sealed bids for the filling of abandoned pipes, including force mains and water mains, with lightweight cellular concrete or similar material capable of being pumped through the infrastructure installed by others and requires all work necessary or proper for or incidental to this purpose including providing all necessary supervisors, personnel, equipment and materials. Inquiries regarding this bid are to be directed to Purchasing@framinghamma.gov. The awarded contractor shall comply with Mass. Gen. L. Ch. 149, Sec. 26 - 27D, as this contract is subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
