This project is in included in the City and County of Honolulu Capital Improvement Plan fiscal years 2023-2028. As of October 23, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2025. A detailed scope has not yet been released. The project includes rehabilitation work and improvements for the existing two force mains for the Waipahu Wastewater Pump Station (WWPS). The rehabilitation may involve pipe lining methods, and replacement of some sections, as determined in the planning phase. The work may also include rehabilitation work and improvements at the pump station that may be needed to provide compatibility with the force main system.
