Renovation of a municipal facility in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
It is the complete respon sibility of the Contractors to ensure that their bid has been received by the date and time specified and the Owner assumes no responsibility for bids mailed but not received. No Bid Bond is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract amounts. An acceptable surety company is any one included in the latest issue of the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570 listing. The successful bidders shall be required to enter into written contract(s) in accordance with the bid specifications. No Proposal will be considered which is not based upon these plans and specifications, or which contains any letter or written memorandum qualifying same, or which is not properly made out and signed in writing by the Bidder or an authorized agent of the Bidder. If the Bidder is a Corporation, the Proposal shall be signed in writing by a properly authorized officer of the Corporation. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The project will require all Contractors to abide by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination, if applicable. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids and award contracts in the best interests of the County.
